The Pacific Center for Human Growth, in collaboration with Alameda County Behavioral Services, is proud to announce the 2nd annual Mental Health at the Intersections conference. Join us on April 11th for a day of interactive and immersive learning centering Queer & Trans People of Color. Together, facilitators and participants will explore the ways in which QTPOC experience multiple forms of oppression that, too often, are not addressed effectively within the therapeutic context. Combining personal stories, educational theory and professional experience, workshop facilitators will help participants move beyond dominant mental health paradigms toward a more holistic, culturally relevant, integrated approach. The conference is open to students, clinicians, consumers and allies.
